Earlier this year Henrike Schmidt, who is prison chaplain in the Hohenasperg prison hospital, asked me whether I would be interested in giving a music workshop in prison this autumn. I accepted and it turned out to be challenging in a positive way - it was so intense (!), and shocking - but I found it was very great as well, very rewarding and so much was exchanged... There was a lot of mind- and gratefulness and there was much respect for the music we made and for each other. Ideal performance conditions!
